Corduroy

"'I didn't know I'd lost a button,' he said to himself.  'Tonight I'll go and see if I can find it.'"

Go on a button hunt!  My son and I took turns hiding a few brightly colored buttons around the living room and then hunted for them like Easter eggs.

"The night watchman was going his rounds on the floor above. 
 When he heard the crash he came dashing down the escalator."

Be night watchmen!  I found a couple of flashlights and my son and I went to the darkest room in our house.  We had a lot of fun investigating everything and playing a game of "I Spy" with our light beams.
