Harold and the Purple Crayon

"And he set off on his walk, taking his big purple crayon with him."

Draw an adventure!  I taped some white banner paper along our hallway wall and found some purple crayons.  Since my son is only two, he liked playing the role of storyteller while I attempted to draw his ideas.  Of course he added lots of details to our mural, too!

"So he laid out a nice simple picnic lunch.  There was nothing but pie.  
But there were all nine kinds of pie that Harold liked best."

Have a pie picnic!  I got some pre-made mini graham cracker pie crusts and a few cans of different pie fillings.  First we made our tiny pies, then we spread out a blanket on the floor for an indoor picnic!
