Pull out some thorns! I made a lion's paw out of play-doh, cut some toothpicks in half, and stuck them in the paw. My son got out his toy pliers and went to work pulling them all out! (Then he hammered them back in so he could pull them out again...)
"In the spring the circus came to town. Of course Andy went. He wanted to see the famous lion act."
Join the circus! I pretended to be the lion tamer while my son acted the part of the lion. We performed all kinds of tricks, including climbing into laundry baskets, spinning on the ottoman, and his favorite - climbing up a ladder.
