"There were swimming lessons on Monday."
Let some penguins swim! I filled up the kitchen sink with cold water and tossed in a bag of ice. I didn't bother breaking up the ice first, so a couple of big chunks made nice glaciers. I made a few penguins out of make-up foam sponges and colored them with sharpie markers. My son didn't seem to mind the frigid water and loved making the little penguins swim around!
"Friday was fishing. Fishing was fun!"
Go fishing! There's a lot of ways you could fish, but I decided to use goldfish crackers. I got out a baking sheet and sprinkled some fish out on it. Then, I showed my son how to catch the fish with his mouth. He thought we were so silly, not using our hands!
