Frog Went a-Courtin'

"'Where will the wedding breakfast be?' 'Way down yonder in a hollow tree.'"

Have a wedding breakfast!  The fancier, the better!  Even if you don't have special eating-ware, the opportunity to eat on real dishes versus plastic ones might be a fun treat for your Little, or adding a tablecloth or lighting candles would make the meal special.  I let my son help set the table, and then we had a grand morning eating our wedding breakfast!  

"Next to come in was a spotted snake, passing 'round the wedding cake."

Make a wedding cake!  My son helped me bake a simple cake, then after it had cooled I frosted it.  Not wanting to get too elaborate with my two year old, I just gave my son a tube of squirty green icing to decorate the cake with.  And sprinkles always make everything fancy, right?  Since most of the wedding guests in the book were bugs of some sort, I thought our "grassy dirt mound" made a perfect wedding cake for Frog and Miss Mousie!
