Green Eggs and Ham

"Do you like green eggs and ham?"

Make green eggs and ham, of course!  I decided not to dye the ham - something about green meat doesn't sit well with me!  It was really easy to add some green food coloring to scrambled eggs though!  My son had no hesitations gobbling them up like Sam-I-Am!

"Would you eat them in a box?  Would you eat them with a fox?"

Try some new foods!  My son is a picky eater, so I thought this would be a fun way to encourage him to try some new foods.  I got a big empty box out for my son to sit in and drew a little fox face on him with washable markers.  Then I gave him an ice cube tray with several new fruits and vegetables for him to eat.  He didn't try everything, but he was a good sport about sampling most of them!  He wanted nothing to do with the cauliflower, but kept saying over and over how yummy the mango was, and he asked for more beet chips.  Success!
