"Trees make the woods. They make everything beautiful."
Make a forest! I taped some banner paper to the wall in our hallway and painted some tree trunks on it. My plan was to have my son make leaves with green paint and his handprints but after he saw Baby Sister using her feet, he decided he wanted to do it that way as well! Then, I cut an apple in half and let him use it stamp some apples in the trees!
"If it is an apple tree we can climb it to pick the apples."
Enjoy some trees! We have a mulberry tree in our front yard and this year we had an amazingly long season to pick and eat berries. You can look up on the internet to see if there are any pick-your-own orchards close to you. Or, just enjoy the shade!
