If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

"If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to ask for a glass of milk."

Bake some cookies with your Mouse!  You can make this as easy or elaborate as you'd like.  We made white chocolate chip oatmeal craisin cookies because those were the ingredients we had on hand, but there's nothing wrong with break-and-bake either! 

tip:: using an extra large mixing bowl
will help reduce the mess!

"He may even end up washing the floors as well!"

Since the dawn of the Swiffer, I don't know too many people who actually get down on hands and knees to scrub the kitchen floor anymore.  Why not elicit the help of your Little to join you in washing the floors while it's still fascinating?  I filled up a bucket with warm water and a mild dish soap (that made tons of suds), gave my son a sponge, and let him go nuts.  I followed behind him with a beach towel (or two) and the floor was sparkling when we were finished!
