Leonardo the Terrible Monster

"He didn't have 1,642* teeth like Tony.  He wasn't big, like Eleanor.  And he wasn't just plain weird, like Hector."

Invent a new monster!  The possibilities are endless when it comes to monster-making, but we chose to make and decorate monster cookies.  We used a really simple sugar cookie recipe and picked out some fun monster-ish cookie cutters.  I added some food coloring to a little bit of milk, and after the cookies were baked and cooled, we decorated them using Q-tips as paintbrushes.

"Leonardo snuck up on the poor, unsuspecting boy.  And the monster gave it all he had."

Make monster faces!  We had great fun making silly monster faces and trying to scare each other.  My son was fascinated with the "selfies" we took of ourselves making silly faces!
