Let your pigeon do some driving! My son loves pretending to drive, any chance he can get! So, naturally, when I told him that he could be the pigeon and drive our "bus," he was ready to go. We sat in the driveway, rolled down the windows, and he went to work managing all the buttons, switches, knobs and shifters like a pro.
"I have dreams, you know!"
Feed the birds! You could go find some pigeons to feed, it shouldn't be too hard! Or, you could make a bird feeder, like we did. Since Spring is late coming this year, we made some suet bird feeders. I heated up about one cup of leftover bacon grease and my son stirred in roughly three cups of bird seed. We poked holes in a dozen cupcake liners, threaded some yarn through them, tied the yarn in loops, and put them in a muffin pan. Then we poured the suet mixture over the top, squished it down a bit, pulled the yarn to the middle, and stuck the pan in the freezer to set. After the grease had hardened, we peeled the paper liners off and found some cool, shady places to hang them.
